'Tis some good grub... Oink
Pot-Bellied Pig Diet
Pot-Bellied pigs love to eat! In fact, if left up to them, they would eat every waking hour.

Pot-Bellied Pigs are omnivores, so their natural diet in the wild would include roots, veggies, nuts, seeds, berries, worms, insects, raw eggs and other little critters. Of course, we can't imitate this diet for our pigs, but we can feed our pigs a variety of healthy foods.

It's a good idea to feed pigs standard-sized, closely monitored meals twice a day (breakfast and dinner) and healthy snacks, such as fruit, air popped popcorn and training treats, in moderation of course.

The mainstay of any pig's healthy diet should consist of pig chow and fresh dark leafy greens such as turnip greens, mustard greens, romaine lettuce, etc. Pig Chow is specifically formulated to be a 100% complete and balanced food source providing adequate amounts of protein, fiber, Selenium, etc. In the wild their protein would come from worms, bugs, insects, eggs, etc. Adult spayed and/or neutered Pot-Bellied Pigs require less protein, less fat and more fiber.
